HP Anderson's Principal has worked and collaborated with civil society groups in England, North America and the Caribbean on environmental advocacy; and is a former member of the Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide, a global network of public interest environmental lawyers.

She has also consulted on projects funded by the MacArthur Foundation, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) in areas such as biodiversity; environment and trade; and climate change.
